Mic
Dover
Since arriving in
New Zealand in 2001, UK-born Mic has worked as a columnist and features
writer for various regional and national publications as well as websites.
He is a regular contributor to The NZ Listener on a wide range of subjects.
In the UK, Mic worked
in the music industry as a lyricist/guitarist and later in the IT industry
as a freelance, specialising in the E-government sector, with published
features in publications such as The Guardian, Government Computing and
Municipal Journal.
More recently, Mic's
features have been geared to overseas publications, again on a wide range
of subjects including the arts, energy policy, the media, tourism and
wildlife conservation as well as news reports for BBC Online News.
In 2005, Mic's award-winning
radio play `Home Smart Home' was broadcast on National Radio. As well
as co-managing NZstories.com, Mic is currently involved in research and
scriptwriting for a new documentary series geared to the UK TV market.
Daniel Allen
Daniel arrived in
New Zealand from the UK in 2003. He is a commercial photographer specialising
in architectural and advertising photography. He has seen his work published
in magazines, books, across billboards, CD covers and websites.
In the UK, Daniel
was based in London shooting mostly for advertising agencies and editors/publishers.
Here in New Zealand he is gaining recognition not only for his commercial
work but also as an exhibition photographer. |
