I studied journalism at Liverpool John Moores University in England. After moving to Australia, I became intrigued by many natural healing methods. Grant Smithies

Grant Smithies has been writing about music and popular culture for over 20 years and is a the music columnist for New Zealand's biggest selling weekend newspaper. In 2006 he won a Quantas Media Award for Best Arts writer in a magazine. His music features have been published in Real Groove in New Zealand, Urb in the US and Sanity in Australia. In 2005 the British Council funded a writing trip to the UK to write about British music for the Kiwi press.

Jill Worrall

Jill Worrall is one of New Zealand's leading travel writers. She has been a NZ Travel Writer of the Year, has twice been awarded the title of Newspaper Travel Writer of the Year, and her first travel book, 'A Blonde in the Bazaar' was runner-up best travel book of the year in 2004. She has won numerous other writing awards including Qantas Media Awards (NZ's most prestigious media awards) for feature writing. She travels extensively, especially in South and Central Asia.
